Reflection

The designs I selected made me think about the different possibilities of the platform - I shied away slightly from the 3D elements as the technology required was quite foreign to me, but I'd like to incorporate this in some way as it adds a whole new feeling to the project. As well, I'd like to experiment with the audio capabilities, although it might not suit this particular project, but the sound of crushing bugs, for example, could add some viscerality and shock factor.

Three things I have learned during this project that will be useful for my future work:

1) Experiment with the full capacity of a platform and don't limit yourself to what you already know how to do.

2) Consider the project in its entirety and how one aspect works with another - I liked how Chloe's poster posed a question whose response was revealed in the AR element; this provokes and encourages the viewer in a certain direction.

3) Think about scale and how this impacts the response of the viewer - when I scanned Lika's, I had to step back and move around to see it properly. Being forced into this position really helped communicate the piece's message.
